Old Town House in Sarajevo

Pretty much everything! The lady that owns the apartment and lives downstairs is a real gem and the treats she surprised us with were absolutely fantastic!! Loved the terrace area too. Sarajevo is a real gem 💎

Kitchen area is absolutely tiny, but do not let this put you off. 1 person at a time and it's fine

The location was perfect. The property was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. The views from the living room, bedroom and large balcony were amazing. The host was fantastic, when we arrived there were snacks, fruit, mineral water, bottle of wine, beer and we were handed a plate of homemade cakes. You don't often get a welcoming like that!

The kitchen is super small, but it's fine for making breakfast and preparing lunch.

Great location, short walk into old town. Very warm, clean and comfortable. Lovely, hospitable hosts who were gracious when we told them we forgot that we had to pay in cash! They also picked and dropped from airport for a very reasonable cost (highly recommend this service!). We had a lovely, comfortable stay.

Kitchen was very tight, so I would not plan to cook here. Bathroom door needs attention, very hard to close! Walk uphill from town may not be suitable for elderly/disabled, and the road was very slippery in the winter snowfall. Hosts do not speak English, but their daughter does and was very responsive to messages on Whatsapp.

Great place. Great location. Parking in a garage, not on the street. We've been staying in over 30 apts in Balkans, and it was the first one who lefr us a welcome not just a snack, whole dinner) coldcuts, pastries, cheese, wine, fruits, water - we felt welcome. Wi fi was great It was warm The view was amazing Matress is firm in the bedroom and soft in tge leaving room. Worked great for us.

A very beautiful and atmospheric apartment in the old house. The views from the windows and terrace are just stunning! Inside there is plenty of space, and you feel like in some professor‘s flat. The hosts are wonderful! Some small treats like fruit and home made cakes made our stay even better. It‘s very convenient that we were able to keep our car in the garage — at least it didn‘t turn hot in the summer heat. The house is situated rather conveniently in 5-7 minutes walk from the old center. Yes, the way back is upwards, but it‘s not very steep, must be ok even for elderly people. And the area looks very authentic and beautiful.

The kitchen is less than tiny. Totally fine to make tea and sandwich, but if you prefer to cook lavish dinners, it might be difficult.

Close to the old town. The beer, fruit and snacks were a lovely touch. A great place to stay.
