"Brilliant short break."

Perfect location, close to the beach but quiet and a bonus sea view from the bedrooms. Fully equipped including shampoo, washing up liquid, instant coffee (Gold Blend!) and milk in the fridge. You really only need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste which I've never experienced before. Welcome gift of chocolates and Prosecco was an added bonus. Francis and Heather were charming and incredibly helpful.

"Great hidden gem."

The location was great and right by the beach. The cottage was spacious and had all mod cons and extras you wouldn't normally get. Francis & Heather go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable and they have a lot of knowledge about the Island. We will be returning.

"Beach Cottage was the best self-catering we had ever stayed in!"

Very good location. 10 minute walk to Shanklin beach. The thoughtful hosts were really friendly, the cottage was charming and extremely clean, the beds were comfortable and there was nothing that we had to provide ourselves. Milk, coffee, tea and soft drinks were provided and chocolate and Prosecco was left as a welcome. Big TV, lovely little garden with flowering pots, and glorious weather. Couldn’t have had a better stay. Beach Cottage was the best place we ever stayed in.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

"A fabulous break on the Isle of Wight"

The house was extremely clean and comfortable and in a great location for Shanklin seafront. The hosts Frances and Heather were SUPERB! They provided essentials that we weren't expecting as well as knowledge of the area and places to eat. All in all everything was just perfect.

The cottage was superb. It was spotless and our hosts couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The property was homely, equipped with everything you could want and more. The location of the property was excellent and the on site parking was welcomed. Thanks again for a very enjoyable stay
