Très joli appartement, très bien situé pour visiter Syracuse. Très bonne communication avec l'hôte même si nous avons fait une arrivée et un départ autonome. Tout était parfait !

Comme certains ont déjà fait la remarque, l'appartement n'est pas bien isolé par rapport au bruit de la rue, mais cela n'a pas été un problème pour nous.

Appartamento piccolo ma funzionale, con lavatrice e piccolo spazio esterno per poter asciugare la roba. Internet in fibra ottica molto veloce. Posizione ottima a 10 minuti a piedi da Ortigia.

La zona giorno e la camera sono direttamente comunicanti senza porta. La strada è piuttosto trafficata e quindi i rumori esterni, sia di giorno che di notte, sono molto noiosi. Assenza di lavastoviglie.

The space inside Casa Lukìa is so lovely organized, spacious enough and beautiful. It’s an open-space concept, but the large bed is nicely isolated from the rest of the room, so it feels like a peaceful sleeping cave. The beds are also comfortable. The used color palette, the materials, details like the little shelves, the amazing sink, the marble in the shower, raw stone walls - it’s done with great taste! There was also coffee, cleaning supply, cosmetics… Very clean and welcoming!

Bed was very comfortable, we had a washer and fully equipped kitchen. We liked the decoration snd the place felt clean. It was simple to find free parking in the street (we stayed in June). House definetely lacks any sound insulation, but the street noise was not that bad for us. Check-in and check-out is good and simple.

Well, I was reading other comments and agree that the neighborhood (location) is a bit rough on the edges…it looks bad, maybe even more bad than it actually is. Bars on the apartment doors and balcony contribute to this feeling of dodgy neighborhood. We had a situation with the owner where she wanted us to pay 40€ for cleaning fees; we had to call booking support to resolve this and explain to the owner (she speaks only Italian) that these expenses are already included in the price… after booking explained this to the owner, she said it is booking fault, not hers (not sure about that). The shower was leaking water and there was a bad smell from the dishwasher sink. TV was not a smart TV, so youtube was not an option (we stayed with 2 kids).
