Ortigia Suite - Theater

The unit is decorated nicely and is very clean however it has very limited natural light. The balcony looks over an interior courtyard that has large garbage cans, large storage tanks, boxes and pallets on half of the courtyard. The other half has pots of plants but the balcony is too small for both chairs to look at that side. There is a very steep staircase to enter the unit...not a problem for us but could be a challenge for some. We liked the location.

The entrance door code did not work when we arrived. I sent a what's app but did not hear back. After 17 minutes of trying the door code it finally worked. I sent a what's app to say we were in and then received a response back. The door code stopped working the next day so we were given the code to the lock box so we could use the key.

I liked to location, easy to walk to everything

At night there was a band below that played loudly until 11:30 pm each night, making it hard to go to sleep. The property could use some refreshing (paint, deep clean, mold in the shower). I was a little cold and would have liked additional blankets for the bed. The stairs to access the property were steep and hard to navigate with luggage.

Apartment ist schön und geräumig. Von hier aus kann man alles zu Fuß erreichen. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, braucht man eine Parkmöglichkeit oder einen Car Service. Direkt beim Apartment ist kein Parkplatz vorhanden. Und Achung: Ortigia hat eine Citymaut (ZTL). Wer das nicht weiß, kann höhere Strafen zahlen

Great location - very cool balconies

Really badly needs some ventilation - smells a bit mouldy especially in the bathroom. A bit noisy but to be expected in this area just pack earplugs
