Location, well appointed, staff excellent

Not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues or some older people. Stairs up to and down into apartment, spiral staircase to bedroom on second floor and toilet on first floor

Right in the centre of Stamford close to parking. The property was spotlessly clean and well appointed and lovely features and interiors.

The central heating wasn’t able to be controlled and we needed to contact the owner to ask for the heating to be put on. It would have been helpful to have some welcome information about the property available on arrival in a pack.

Fantastic location, bars, and restaurants on your doorstep. Apartment spotlessly clean and decorated lovely. Car park right outside, which had a fair ground on it when we stayed, so we couldn't use it, but there are other car parks, and the owners did inform us of the fair beforehand. The kitchen looks great but to be honest, we hardly spent any time there, only returning to sleep there after 2 full days out, and we didn't cook, so i can't comment on the kitchen equipment. There was milk in the fridge for us along with sugar, coffee, and teabags, which was appreciated. Communication is great.

I wasn't keen on the spiral staircase, it felt a little wobbly, there's also steps up into the apartment (all can be seen in the photos) so it might be difficult if you have any mobility struggles. Also, my husband banged his head a couple of times on the spiral staircase walking to the bathroom, so if you're tall...remember to duck! The bed was very comfortable, but again, if you're tall, you might find the bedroom challenging - there is not a lot of headroom. This is an old building, so allowances have to be made with ceiling heights and steps, etc.

A lovely, quirky apartment, in a refurbished beautiful old house. Well-equipped and nicely decorated it had everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay. We wish we'd had more time here. It was perfect for exploring Stamford, which is a really picturesque town full of beautiful old buildings, and independent cafes, shops and restaurants. The hosts were very good at communication. Highly recommended

Excellent location and well equipped. Be careful of beams etc if you are 6foot plus.
