Sbiriddu's House

Very nice house right in the most popular area. Not loud in the evening when windows are closed even though we could hear the garbage trucks at around 7am. The host is super nice! The apartment is great. The stairs of the apartment are very steep and of small size so keep in mind that big suitcases will go up with difficulty as well as people with some physical disabilities.

The room is very comfortable and warm, and the geographical location is very good! The landlord is very warm and helpful!

I was at Sbiriddu's House for 2 weeks and it was great! The location is ideal for attending a concert at the Taormino amphitheater or taking language courses at Babelonia. The host, Daniela, is wonderful and always available to answer questions or give advice on the area. When I arrived she presented me with a bottle of wine and snacks. I loved having breakfast on the balcony, which is perfect for people-watching. Steps away from fabulous restaurants and the lovely park is a 5 minute walk.

There are so many great things about this property. The location is absolutely perfect. Right in the middle of town and a few minutes walk to most places. The apartment is a great size with a generous bedroom and bathroom. We didn’t use the living area/kitchen but was nice to have. Arriving and getting the keys was all super easy. The apartment was lovely and clean and had enough towels for our 3 night stay.

As said in other reviews, if you have the upstairs apartment, the stairs are a bit of a squeeze. We found them to be a struggle when we arrived and left with suitcases so this was only twice during our stay but still a bit of a task. They are very very narrow but we found them fine when just coming in and out of the apartment each day. The aircon isn’t great either. It is in the living room and doesn’t really reach the bedroom very well. We found it to be very hot during the night.

The apartment was clean and perfect. Location was great. The host was professional. She provide us with A lot of useful recommendations. Check in process was easy.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. I stayed in the upstairs apartment and had a couple of lovely balconies to sit on and enjoy the sounds of the people passing by. The property is so close to the main street but is in a part of Taormina that really feels as if it is full of locals. It was beyond clean, quiet (with only sporadic foot traffic passing by) and just a wonderful place to spend a couple of days. I wish I had more time here.

Be aware if you stay in the upstairs apartment that access is via a small spiral staircase. It wasn't a problem for me!

Wow..ideally situated and Daniela is charming and so helpful. The apartment was beyond outstanding..had a gorgeous balcony that I used daily to people watch. Clean and beautifully renovated and tastfully furnished. Everything I could want and more. Would recommend to all.
