Seafront Apartments Garden House

Martella was wonderful.

Maristela is very kind, helpful, available and she goes the extra mile to make people's holiday pleasant. She helped us with all the information we needed and she solved issues on the spot, She was totally unobtrusive but always around in case we needed her. The house is beautiful, equipped with everything needed. You won't find luxury but you will find a clean, confortable place with a beautiful garden, near the beach - where you can drink your coffee while admiring the sunrise. A home away from home.

The place is wonderful, comfortable, well-decorated. The kitchen and the master bedroom open to the garden full of well-groomed plants. We had nice meals under the lemon trees. The great beach is just across the street. Maristella, the manager, had prepared a very useful package of information regarding the necessities (such as groceries) and local attractions. She was very pleasant and nice to talk to. We would have liked to stay for much longer and can't wait to be back.

Our stay at the Garden House was excellent. The garden is a delight - especially in April, with the pervasive scents of orange blossoms and wisteria treating us. Maristella is a warm hostess and interesting person. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped with cooking and cleaning equipment and soaps, the beds were very comfortable and blankets sufficient for chilly nights, the shower functioned well and was nicely hot, and both the interior and exterior (garden) were spotlessly clean. Reverse air conditioning provided good heat on chilly evenings. The apartment was a bit of a splurge for only two of us, but as the apartment has two bedrooms, it would be a good value for four people. The location was good, in that it was quiet in the evenings and night, and quite walkable to the Letojanni train station or the bus stops for Taormina (€1.10 or €1.90 one way, depending on which company you use). We appreciated having a washing machine.

We would stay here again in a flash. It was one of the best stays of our long trip. Note that there are no soft chairs or sofa indoors, so in cool or rainy weather, you sit at the kitchen table. In summer, the garden would be your sitting room.

Very friendly and helpful woman, Maristella, took care of us. The apartments are well kept. Beautiful sea front.
