Casa la Boheme

Excellent location in the middle of the center but on a small side street which was nice and quiet. The terrace is wonderful to have breakfast and evening drinks. The cake and wine the host left for us was excellent also!

Casa Boheme is a lovely property in the heart of the old town within a few steps of Corso Umberto. It is spacious and comfortable offering 2 living spaces that include 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on two levels. In addition, it has a lovely deck with views of the sea. It is very well stocked and includes everything that a family would require for housekeeping. The television offered cable tv as well as internet channels. Although there were only 2 of us, it would comfortably house 6 ppl. There was also a baby bed.

After hot sunny days in Taormina the apartment was cool and it calm. We especially loved the terrace upstairs.

Taxi struggled to find the property and left us with longer walk than expected.

The duplex is very spacious and has a degree of charm. The terrace is lovely with areas of sun and shade , with a view of Etna. The balconies are lovely. The washing machine was an asset too. The owners were generous with the arrival gifts, cake, wine and plenty of water. It is situated so close to Taormina centre..

It is in need of some maintenance, shower falling off the wall, toilet seat loose/ill fitting. There are too many objects in the apartment, that the cleaners hadn’t got around to dusting. The pillows were very lumpy, but we found a duvet to replace them. A little more ‘love’ and this place could be a real asset for such a lovely town.

Lovely terrace and generous host that provided us with four big bottles of water, two bottles of wine and a dessert cake/ pie to welcome us. The host is also very friendly and informative - gave us lots of tips locally.
