Casa la Boheme

Location was perfect, close to the Porta Catania - central but away from Main Street, so really quiet. Very good Deco supermarket 5 minutes away. Casa was essentially 2 separate apartments connected by a staircase ( single entrance). 2 kitchens and living rooms plus 2 bathrooms. Downstairs was darker and cooler, perfect for hot summer days but did have small balconies. Upstairs was brighter but hotter on sunny days. Fully equipped kitchens - we used the upper one most. Bottles of water in fridge on arrival plus wine and a delicious cake. Very thoughtful. Coffee, teas, olive oil, vinegar and condiments in kitchen. Great washing machine and outdoor clothes rack. Our host also gave us a list of restaurants to try.

The only thing I was not keen on was the sink and dish washing rack - latter located above sink and a bit awkward. A few maps and brochures of the area would be a bonus.

Great location with a wonderful view from the balcony. Cake and wine waited for us in the kitchen. The owner gave us many suggestions for Taormina. This is a perfect place to stay if you visit Taormina.

everything was well equipped. lovely apartment. the veranda was a lovely place to sit in the sun and relax. wish we had booked more nights here. the hosts were amazing, leaving us water and wine and cake. amazingly central too.

Nice rooftop. guest very kind and helpful.

Location. Outdoor patio. The host was very gracious with beverages and cake.

Downstairs bathroom was not clean enough. Had to remove shower drain and clear it of hair.

great service, value and location

We simply loved this apartment. The size, the fresh air inside, the location, the extremely helpfull and kind hosts, the two floors with bedrom, bath, livingroom, kitchen and balcony in both floors. And the best of all: The lagre veranda with wonderful view over Etna mountain, the old and charming city and the ocean. Simply amazing!
