Apollo Apartment Ortigia

We had a very pleasant stay in the Ortigia apartment. It is very well located on Ortigia island - all the attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. At the same time the neighborhood is very quiet. Apartment is super-clean, well equipped and very specious for a couple. Claudia met us in person, showed the apartment and gave several recommendations on sights to see and restaurants. She even left for us some tasting samples of products from her farm - that was really nice. All in all, I highly recommend this apartment

Convenient and safe location. Very quiet area. Claudia picked us up from the train station. Nice biscuits and large bottle of water supplied. Good bathroom.

Very uneven and steep steps going up to apartment. Being older we found them hard to negotiate to get our suitcases up but Claudia did help us with this. The fridge on/off button on the wall should have a message on it saying what it is so you don’t turn it off accidentally…which we did.

Location is very good with easy access to parking and sites. Apartment is very clean, cozy and comes fully equipped. Claudia is very helpful and provided good suggestions to best sunset view and good Sicilian food.

Amazing apartment in the heart of the old town. Well equipped, nicely decorated and comfy. Claudia was really lovely on check in and sent us lots of info about the city. Would definitely stay again 🙂

Bed was a little firm for us but that's just personal preference!

Great location! Claudia, the host, was very nice and met us to check us in. She was also good about messaging back and forth to answer questions. Nice kitchen facilities, fridge, kettle, microwave, dishes, washing machine. Good air conditioner. Good lighting in bathroom and big sink with shelving to put toiletries. Good hair dryer! Nice area with couch, tv and some hanging space for clothing too. I would give a rating of 8.8 out of 10.

Unfortunately the internet was extremely slow at times (could check e-mails, but trying to download pictures or post on FB was almost impossible), and the water temperature in the shower would not stay hot more than 5-6 minutes before cooling off. They day we left, some plumbers came to work on the shower so maybe the water temp will be improved?

Really good location, apartment was a good size with everything you need. The owner was lovely and met us to take us to the property.

Bed was a bit firm for my preference, but that is just me.

The place was immaculately clean, and within walking distance of all the major sites. Our host was very attentive and helpful. We look forward to staying again!

Great location, full kitchen and washing machine. Large bathroom and smart TV.

Compact shower

The host was very kind and helpful, went above and beyond to help us and provide information. Location is great, in the center, next to Apollo temple. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well designed, would even work for longer term accommodation, as it has everything you would need (including dishwasher, washing machine, cooking spaces, the hair dryer even has a diffuser attachment!).

There was some construction near the apartment that would wake us up relatively early, but I noticed quite a few construction spots on the island, might be difficult to avoid.

The apartment is clean, well-equipped and in a great location in Ortigia. The owner was kind enough to pick us up at the station and gave us great recommendations on what to eat and do during our stay.
