Location

Unwelcoming, barely any toilet, soap, or kitchen paper. Dishwasher broken last minute, it seems. Noisy.

The location was excellent

1. The apartment does not have an operating sauna. It is advertised with a sauna in the first photo but it does not work and the staff did not really care about fixing the issue or providing a solution. We chose this apartment because of the spa and because it was heavily advertised (first photo and title/description) 2. The apartment was poorly maintained and not very clean. Bathrooms were not properly cleaned before our stay, bed sheets had stains and did not smell clean.

Right above tourist epicenter. Three nights of mediocre rock concerts so loud until midnight I couldn’t sleep until late Wi-Fi was off for three days

Unbeatable location with view over the temple of Apollo. Large and beautiful apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Delightful host - all very easy.

A palace right at the entrance to Ortiga. Massive, multiple roomed apartment. Really great owners who were always available if needed and were very friendly.

Showers were a little off. The one in the second bathroom was very short (I'm 6"1 so had to duck). But this was a tiny inconvenience from how amazing this place is overall.

Great location. Lots of space and spacious rooms. Floors are very nice but cold so if you’re prone to cold feet, bring slippers.

Nothing provided at all: things like kitchen basics (oil, salt, pepper etc) or shower stuff (shampoo, shower gel etc). Just hand soap. They are of course not obliged to provide these, and perhaps we have been spoiled previously, but it was a negative for us.

The flat was amazing. Location center city overlooking the ruins. Walking distance to parking areas, water and restaurants

Coffee machine didn’t work. Electricity went out in few rooms but was able to correct with circuit breaker. Host was easy to reach and very helpful.

The location was excellent. Close to a small supermarket and the food market and in the old town of Ortigia. Clean and plenty of room for a group of six. Having a clothes washer was great as well. Plenty of bathroom towels.

The very noisy wooden floors. They would creak every time you walked on them and it became very annoying, particularly at night! There was a fully equipped kitchen but the oven and dishwasher were not working. I’m not sure if the oven did work but there were no instructions on how to operate it in any case. For a large group, one of whom was happy to cook, this was frustrating.

Wonderful hosts, a spacious apartment with a million dollar view of the ruins of the Temple of Apollo and next to the local market and dozens of good restaurants. Important to not forget the numerous gelato shops. A voucher was provided for breakfast in a nearby cafe. Located in Ortegia, the only area of Siracusa to stay (in my opion).
