Spa sul tempio d'apollo

The host was very good at communicating and met us on arrival. The apartment is very large and the photos don’t do it justice. We were surprised with the amount of space and the quality of the furnishings. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and most of the furniture is beautiful antique inlaid wood with marble floors. The location is excellent, close to some free parking and very walkable to all the sites in Ortigia. The breakfast was a coffee and pastry in a cafe across the street but it was pleasant. Amazing view to the temple of Apollo across the street.

The spa is in the primary ensuite bathroom and is a combination shower with multiple shower heads with a small attached sauna in the same unit. (which we didn’t try out, used the regular shower head and it was too hot for a sauna) Not that we didn’t like it but to clarify as this was unclear from their booking site.

Prime location apartment in Ortigia, beautiful view of the Temple of Apollo. Really spacious with an Italian luxurious feeling. Very well equipped kitchen and dining room, with wine glasses to suit every grape type/occasion which seemed quite impressive. Steps away from so many good restaurants, cafes, shops etc. Would be my top choice in Ortigia for sure!

Absolutely perfect location overlooking the ruins. 3 large bedrooms, 1 with ensuite. Living room with sofa beds and dining table + a separate dining room and kitchen. Kitchen has everything you need - huge fridge, microwave, dishwasher. Met by owner and given an induction. Very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast across the road was great too. Overall very pretty, well located, clean and spacious apartment. Highly recommend.

The aircon didn’t reach the third bedroom.

Fabulous location for everything! Beautiful property, well appointed rooms, great air-conditioning, lots of living space so that our group was able to stretch out and relax and recover from a long flight.

We loved the property!

Fantastic location overlooking the Temple of Apollo, in the heart of the old town. Huge apartment for family/ group use and bathroom facilities. Unexpected free breakfast provided in local cafe. Great for exploring Ortigia.

Only problem with the apartment (being so huge) was that the air con not the wi fi reached the third bedroom which have one member of our party an uncomfortably hot night. Little bit of noise in the front bedroom at night - to be expected in such a prime spot. Ejected at 10am sharp (we had only arrived the previous evening at six after train delays) - a little disappointed by this, given that we had asked the owner if he would consider a slightly later check out than 10am or a place to leave a couple of our bags, as we could not access our next property until much later in the day. We appreciate the owner was under no obligation to give us extra time but it would have been nice especially since he had said that the room was not going to be occupied - we would have even willingly negotiated a small fee.

From the beginning to the end of our stay our experience was nothing less than exceptional. Silvana and Gaetano did everything to make our vacation memorable.
