Amazing stay in the heart of Ortigia, right next to the street market but you don't really hear the noise. Has good air conditioner for the hot summer days, walking distance to everything.

Nothing really.

The location is fantastic, the appearance of the flat is really nice. The owner made it very easy to find and made crystal clear how things work (garbage, electricity,...). The bathroom is one of a kind and the whole place is really welcoming.

It smelled odd (humid/moldy). The pictures and the description of the place suggest that there are two separate rooms while it is in fact 'just' (a very nice) studio.

Great location and modern facilities!

This beautiful apartment was in the heart of the old town. The fruit and vegetable market was just below the apartment, very convenient! Our host was great to communicate with and very accommodating. I would recommend this apartment to anybody looking for a comfortable convenient place to stay and enjoy Siracusa.

Location, cleanliness, comfort

The apartment is clean, spacious and perfectly located between the big parking area and the historical centre of ortigia. Manuela was lovely and super helpful!

The apartment was fabulous. Daugther enjoyed the high bed. Location is great, right above the market (where you can find breakfast). However you coud not hear the noise from the market.

The apartment has an amazing design - we really enjoyed it. It is basically composed of 1 large room where both the bed and the sofa are located (there's very minimal separation between the sofa and the bed) together with the kitchen. Bathroom looks also great. The kitchen was well-equipped: as I'm cooking myself from time to time during the trips, I pay particular attention to it and I did not miss anything there. Location is very convenient and pretty central, there's a supermarket in 5-7 min walking distance and you also have the street market right next to the apartment (by the way we were not disturbed by any noise from the market). Railway station can be easily reached by foot in about 15-20 min. Handing over the keys at arrival was easy, as well as leaving the apartment

Two things to mention: #1 (this is ONLY relevant if you travel during cold season): there's no heating system in the apartment. Inflow of warm air is done via air conditioner located above the entrance to the bathroom (you can see a slim slit in the wall above the bathroom door on the photos - the A/C is behind it) which is, to put it mildly, inefficient - warm air blowing through a thin slit in one direction high above your heads. We stayed in Feb and it was very cold in the apartment - was more or less ok for us (father and son 40 and 16 years old), but if you are sensitive to temperature - be aware. #2 After finalizing the booking process the host wrote us that in order to use the sofa bed additional EUR 8 needs to be paid for the linen. I agreed, no big deal, but if the description of the apartment says "1 large double bed and 1 sofa bed", it would be fair to also state that the "sofa" will turn into a "bed" only at additional cost. Perhaps it is mentioned somewhere, but I double-checked it again now and have not found it.
