Mountain Lodge getaway, ski-in/ski-out, heart of the village

Location was great . Village was just 5-8 minutes walk from hotel.

Insufficient blinds in the bed room - too much light from corridor . I have not been able to sleep for four days . Kids were also up all night saying that their eyes hurt. Also crazy noise as the appartement is just next to one of main doors . Otherwise very clean and great kitchen equipment with great coffee

Considering the location, probably one of the less expensive places to stay. Bed was decent. Emailed host about one issue and he responded very promptly and was helpful.

The entire building is over due a makeover/upgrade. Looks and feels old. Suite was very small. No hand towels provided only washcloths & bath towels. Window in bedroom faced the lobby and bright light shined through window. Would suggest some type of room darkening blinds or shades or additional curtains be added to make bedroom darker and more conducive to sleep. Also room was very hot, no AC. Have spent way less for way better facilities, but given the resort location was probably not over priced (although this was the "off season"). Overall NOT a bad place to stay, but far, far from an exceptional experience. Nothing stands out as special. Mediocre, or very average at best.
