Stirling Venus Apartment - Scotland Holiday Let

The location of the accommodation is great. Very spacious apartment.

Property was comfortable, warm and relatively clean. Location was in a quiet neighborhood a 20 min walk to the centre of Stirling.

There were a few things that weren’t right that demonstrated lack of attention to detail. For example lack of consumables like cloths, kitchen rolls, soap etc. So the first shopping trip was to buy bin bags and domestic cleaning materials. The stairs were steep with no handrails to ensure safety on the stairs. This has already been mentioned in other reviews. Two other aspects marred the stay, the television didn’t work and the internet connection was through a SIM card in a portable modem. The reception to the SIM was poor so the internet connection was non viable. I had to purchase another portable modem and install a SIM card from another provider to facilitate a viable internet connection. When I discussed the television and Internet with the ‘host’ his reply was that if the property didn’t meet our expectations we could leave! We travelled 6000 miles for this holiday so his response, to say the least, was disappointing. The lack of consumables and no TV is perhaps tolerable but good access to the internet is a key resource for many reasons. Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this property.

The access to the city and attractions but far enough away from the hustle of traffic and a nice little walk to the village pub

It was in a very quiet area.

Stairs were very noisy and kitchen could have been better equipped with more cutlery, sieve etc.

I spent 4 nights.. the location is great. Stirling is one of the best options in Scotland. You can walk to the center for 5 minutes. Mr. Giuseppe was very supportive and helpful when I called him for assistance. This is a villa and has a backside terrace. I like the stay here.

Easy to find, Well equipped, comfortable, a great location for exploring The Trossachs and Stirling. Host was helpful and communicative.

Located in a quite but central part of Cambusbarron where we were visiting acquaintances. Perfect location for us

Good location for Bannockburn, Stirling and The Kelpies.

A handrail on the stairs, a step in the kitchen for high shelves, a bedside lamp that can be plugged in and some wastepaper bins.
