The room was spotlessly clean and the plumbing 100%! The property was situated in a prime location in the centre of the village, on the edge of the pwedestrian zone. The community inn and shop were just across the square. Wherever you set out there was an equally beautiful panorama. As a person with an occasional stick, the fact that the property was entirely on the ground floor and that all the wonderful walks were entirely negotiable with a walking aid meant that we could fully enjoy the beauty of the area. The host was most genial, a mine of local information, and we ended up spending social time with him beyond the call of duty.

If I were to stay longer I would book the slightly larger room across the entry, which has basic cooking facilities. For the length of our stay it was perfectly satisfactory, but this was partly because we could use the little separate outbuilding across from the entry, though in early April this was slightly chillsome. As there is no hot food in the village itself, guests should consult the many eating opportunities in the area. Maybe a little signpost to the property would be useful: my navigation system did not recognise the vehicle-free zone, and three other homes have almost the same address (b,c,d). But these are minor issues that we solved very quickly.

Small lovely village with pub, church, shop and childern playground. Thats all we needed ;). The accomodation is perfect, very quite & peacefull. Thank you!
