Taonasi Mazzarò Apartments

Location, Views, Easy to enjoy the entire offerings of Taormina. We had the sea-ward facing apartment and with the host-supplied espresso pods, it was a great start to any day in Italy. Centered between two beaches and a short walk to Isola Bella, made our days very easy to live! Mini grocery stores down the street, which is next to the cable car. Cable car location allows you to beat the crowds to and from the beach as we simply had to walk home, then visit Taormina town!

The amount of hot water for showers was spotty, but we were there in October, and this may not matter in the summer

Bett leider etwas wackelig und unbequem

Gospodarz obiektu Riccardo jest wyjątkowy. Przekazał nam ważne informacje gwarantujące komfort pobytu. Lokal jest wyjątkowo czysty i gustownie urządzony, a taras z pięknym widokiem jest cudowny.

We had an amazing time staying in the Silvana Apartment for 5 nights. The communication from Riccardo before and during our visit was extremely helpful. Riccardo sent very clear instructions with photos on WhatsApp which made the arrival very smooth. We arrived late at night and had no trouble accessing the property due to the instructions given. Riccardo also helpfully arranged parking at the hotel across the street which was very welcome. A nice bottle of wine and plenty of tea and coffee waiting for us in the apartment was a very nice surprise. Our apartment was on the top floor with 1 bedroom and a bed settee in the living room which had been made up for us on arrival. This was helpful after a long day travelling that we didn’t need to struggle making this up. The apartment was very clean and of a high standard with plenty of fresh towels, toiletries and kitchen equipment. There is very good free Wi-Fi. There were even some umbrellas which we thankfully did not need to use. The apartment has 2 large terraces with amazing views of the sea, town and mountains which we could not get enough of. The location was excellent with restaurants and shops nearby, good access to the beach and the cable car to the town just a few minutes’ walk away. Riccardo kept in touch during our stay and went above and beyond by recommending some great places to visit and to eat. We were not disappointed by any of the recommendations. Riccardo also arranged a taxi for us on our departure which was extremely helpful.

There honesty is nothing to fault this property and if there were any issues, I am certain that Riccardo would have resolved them quickly. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

This apartment was a great location-about 2 blocks from the cable car, plenty of little shops for food, etc. Great shopping and sightseeing at the top of the cable car. Lots of restaurants. The host and housekeeper were wonderful and very helpful.

It was ideal for us-we walked everywhere or took a cab.
