Attico Sole Luna

Purtroppo abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte presso l’attico Sole Luna di Giulia, ma sarebbe stato davvero bello fermarsi più a lungo. Giulia è stata molto gentile fin dall’inizio, fornendoci tutte le indicazioni utili per il parcheggio e per raggiungere l’appartamento con la navetta, soluzione che abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo. Abbiamo anche trovato molto comoda la possibilità di effettuare il check-in già alle ore 12:00. L’appartamento si trova in pieno centro: una posizione davvero perfetta. Pur non essendo di grandissime dimensioni, è organizzato in modo impeccabile, arredato con gusto e dotato di ogni comfort. La vera meraviglia, però, è il terrazzo: enorme e semplicemente mozzafiato. La vista è spettacolare, spazia dal Teatro Greco all’Etna innevato, da Taormina fino a tutta la costa, passando per Giardini di Naxos, Catania e arrivando fino a Siracusa. Giulia è stata sempre disponibile e ci ha dato tanti preziosi consigli. Non possiamo che ringraziarla per questa fantastica esperienza. Speriamo davvero di poter tornare presto, magari fermandoci un po’ più a lungo!

Absolutely wonderful little apartment with the biggest private roof deck! This property is a small, comfortable, well supplied suite in an excellent location and an amazing host. Giulia takes great pride in her town and her rental suite and was always available with suggestions and great communication. The apartment is small, with one bedroom, a kitchenette, bathroom and dining area. No living room but the extensive private rooftop deck and its stellar views more than makes up for it. Excellent location in the middle of all the old town has to offer.

The bed could be better - it's actually a sofa bed installed in a separate bedroom and is perhaps due to be updated. This was our only issue but would NOT stop us from returning. Also a caveat - there are a LOT of stairs to get to the suite - you don't get that high rooftop without a climb! Again this would not discourage us, and Giulia was an absolute hero with suitcases, but would definitely be a consideration for anyone with mobility issues.

The terrace is amazing, great views across Taomina and the whole apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing, literally minutes from main spots. Giulia (host) was lovely, gave us recommendations for local spots and made check-in easy and stress free.

The location was excellent. The terrace had a great view and was very spacious. As we stayed just one night, we did not get to enjoy it too much. The host was very friendly and the communication was easy, also sent recommendations via Whatsapp.

That said, I cannot rate this stay highly. The soda bed was extremely uncomfortable, lumpy and uneven and we were unable to sleep well. The property might be better suited for a longer stay, as the kitchen seemed to be quite well stocked and there was the terrace, but that still leaves the uncomfortable bed.
