The house and garden are beautiful and so are the surroundings. It's quiet around and you can hear birds in the morning. It's a beautiful location. The bed was very comfortable, there was a cot ready for our baby and there was everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay.

There was no soap in the soap dispenser in the bathroom sink.

The house has several doors so we had to look a bit for ours, but when we opened the doors we were pleasantly surprised. We walked through a nice common area to reach our room. The room itself was compact but very comfortable. The outdoor gardens and sitting areas are lovely. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I needed a broom to clean up the eating area.

A beautiful historic house with a picturesque garden overlooking the Anaga mountains. Perfect for those seeking piece and quiet close to nature and away from the crowds. Everything is provided for self-catering comfort with a bonus access to a coffee machine, a garden BBQ and a pool. The house and garden are full of charm and character. The village amenities are within 5 minutes walk - lovely cafes, bakeries, restaurants, shops and a famous weekend farmers market. A very local authentic place with few tourists. Communication with the host was remote but efficient, she was very accommodating including accepting a last-minute booking, flexible check in and check out times. Plenty of hiking routes start from the village. Absolutely fell in love with the house and the village!

Everything was amazing, just a few tiny things for a balanced review - in winter (late December) nights get a bit chilly so warm pyjamas and some warm clothing for the evenings are recommended (provided blankets were appropriate for the temperature). The pool is not usable in that period. Lastly, it is a little dark inside so a couple of extra lamps could help - especially the light on the stairs leading down to the kitchen needs to be fixed for safer access to the bathroom at night. Otherwise fantastic place!

We liked the hotel very much. Beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet, nice garden, parking, apartment equipped with everything you need, very good contact with the host.

Not much really. I don't like this remote check in - check out but all ok.

The place is wonderful on a very quiet location. A 6 min walk away from a bakery and shops, on the way you can stop at a local cafe and enjoy a cup of "cortado leche y leche" with the local people. Everyone greets each other, so you should do the same. I had to take a bus to La Laguna, quite easy, the nearest bus stop is a few min away. I loved the small swimming pool and the big garden with lots of small tables/chairs where you can sit in the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful sunset. There's room for all the guests so that everyone can enjoy the privacy. There are bananas and avocados in the garden as well. The place is well kept and really clean. I really enjoyed my stay there. The beaches (Bajamar, Punta del Hidalgo) can be reached by car/bus. I would definitely recommend the place to other guests.

The hairdryer is not strong enough, took ages to dry my hair.
