The apartment is much nicer than it appears in the photos. While I usually avoid street level apartments due to lack of windows and natural light, this apartment is actually good. We did not feel that it was too dark. Our hostess Cristina was lovely and definitely puts a lot of effort into making her guests comfortable. EVERYTHING we needed was in the apartment. It is centrally located, close to everything but on a quiet street. We slept very well! We would surely stay again!

While lacking scenic views, its street-level accessibility made exploring the city a breeze. Our hostess was incredibly hospitable, even recommending her aunt's outstanding restaurant, a culinary highlight of our trip. The apartment itself was generously spacious, boasting a fully equipped kitchen and a well-appointed bathroom, offering all the comforts of home.

However, it's important to note that the absence of windows might not suit everyone's preferences, and the single step between the bedroom and the rest of the apartment could be a concern, especially during the night. Despite these considerations, this snug apartment is a convenient and comfortable base for those seeking to be at the heart of Ortigia.

Rosa went well out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The accommodation was spotless and very well maintained.

The accommodation was comfortable, quiet and clean. It must have been recently renovated. It had everything we needed (and more, ex. the washing machine and coffee machine) for our stay in Ortigia. The place is small but cosy and air conditioned. It's located in the heart of Ortigia, super close to the sea and many lovely restaurants and cafes. Although it's located just off the road, it's surprisingly quiet. Cristina is a wonderful, helpful and kind host and the communication with her was really great.

Cristina our host met us at the door and was always available if we had any questions. Everything and I mean everything was in the apartment !! Situated in the centre of Ortigia, you can walk everywhere from the apt. Would highly recommend.
