Ernesto’s home

Un appartamento curato nei minimi dettagli, arredato con materiali pregiati e ricco di dettagli unici! Punto strategico per raggiungere vari punti della Sicilia, tra cui Ortigia. Profumato in ogni angolo, che non è cosa da poco, spazioso, munito di ogni tipo di comfort, il proprietario ci ha fatto trovare un angolo per la colazione, c’è un piccolo stanzino dove ci sono lavatrice, ferro da stiro, aspirapolvere ogni cosa che si ha in casa propria! Sulla lavatrice a disposizione ci sono anche detersivo e ammorbidente! Non manca davvero nulla!

L'appartamento di Ernesto è in una posizione strategica e centrale fra la bellissima Ortigia e l'area archeologica (parco di Neapolis). Intorno all'appartamento ci sono negozi, supermercato, bar, farmacia e rosticcerie. L'appartamento è pulitissimo, dotato di tutti i comfort e di diversi elettrodomestici utili per il soggiorno, inoltre, il letto e i cuscini sono comodissimi. Soggiornare presso questa struttura è stato veramente un piacere, inoltre Ernesto è un host speciale, di una gentilezza più unica che rara. Ci ha messo a nostro agio, è venuto incontro ad alcune nostre esigenze, si è dimostrato veramente cortese. Sicuramente consiglierò a tutti di prenotare da lui e se dovessimo tornare a Siracusa non esiteremo a contattarlo.

Appartamento moderno, arredato con gusto, con ascensore e letto comodo. Buona dotazione in cucina. Posizione comoda, vicino alla fermata dell'autobus, ma a breve distanza per andare a piedi sia in centro che al parco archeologico. Parcheggio gratuito lungo la via. Proprietario molto gentile e disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Mr. Ernesto was a fantastic host – incredibly kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations. He gave us valuable tips and insights that really helped us discover the beauty of Syracuse in a more authentic way. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed. Its location was also perfect: peaceful, yet just a short walk from the historic center. We would highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again!

What a great place, really felt like home for a few days! Ernesto is the nicest host, he welcomed us in person and explained everything about the apartment, was very helpful with parking and tips about the region. Recommended for sure!

Ernesto’s home is situated at the best possible location. Everything was super close including station and walk to attractions in Ortigia. We arrived a bit early and Ernesto was waiting for us. He also prepared a written note in English for things to do in Siracusa and ortigia, which was very kind of him. Everything was clean and tidy in the apartment also and we had a comfortable stay.

Only two towels were provided and one of them was torn while in use. The shower didn’t work properly. We made Ernesto aware after we left and he assured us to fix it. However this did not bother us at all and we managed :)

Excellent for staying in Syracuse to discover ortigia and or the surroundings. Ernesto is a perfect host and helps with all questions quickly.

Errnestos flat is truly remarkable. It's extremely tasteful and spaacious. There is everythung you need and more, as Ernesto provides some water, juice, butter, jam and even wine. He is a great host, gave us some tipps on where the nearest shops werre and how to get where. He also makes sure that waste is collectrd properly and recycled properly. The flat is located ideally - in walking distance to the island and the archeeological park, as well as close to the bus terminal and station. There is a supermarketvaround the corner It was very quiet and the beds were comfy.

The apartment located on the 4th floor (with an elevator) is quiet (you almost had the impression that the building is uninhabited), spacious, very clean, equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast, very nicely decorated and located in a very quiet neighborhood, without terraces/ bars that stay open until late at night. From the balcony you could admire the whole neighborhood. The center of Ortigia was approx. 15 min walk. On a street near the apartment there is a delicious bakery/pizzeria :) The keys were given to us by Ernesto's nephew, who also gave us some tips for restaurants and cafes. Ernesto was kind and left us some snacks in the apartment. We felt like at home. Grazie mille, Ernesto!

There were no negative aspects. Only some recommendations: the tea kettle should be changed because it is damaged and more towel hooks in the bathroom.
