Garden Cottage

Comfortable clean accommodation. Living room was lovely and beautiful shower room.Close to where I needed to be and more comfortable staying rather than a hotel. Nice pub opposite for food and handy shop in the village..

Wifi was poor. It kept on dropping out of signal Unfortunately had to travel by myself so needed wifi to be able to facetime home

Excellent for pet owners as there were no stairs. Plenty of space for two people plus two little dogs. Close to the village green for quick dog walks. Warm and comfortable. Situated in the heart of a lovely little village.

Not sure about the merit of car number plates as decoration! The outside space is cluttered with quirky reclaimed items.

John is a lovely welcoming host. The property is a good size for two people. The location is great with a friendly local pub and shop very close.

The property would benefit from a deep clean. Surfaces etc are clean but grout, skirting boards etc need attention. Sadly the bed is uncomfortable, initially the moth ball smell was overpowering. The garden furniture needs cleaning as it’s currently unusable, whilst the garden itself is full of “stuff”.

It's such a lovely place to stay, the village of Helpringham is very friendly and welcoming, the host John is a really nice guy and very helpful.. The garden cottage is really cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. The Brass Windmill pub just across the green is fantastic, lovely food and a great atmosphere. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can!

The only thing I didn't like was going home!

The host was lovely, understanding and kind - couldn’t do enough to offer help. Ample facilities and information pamphlets on the local area. There is a little newsagents/corner shop around 3 min walk, a village pub about 2 minutes away and lots of lovely little dog walks

None that could be changed by the host.

The host John is a lovely chap and very relaxed. Really quiet village with a General Store and great pub across the Green . Don't hesitate !

Host very friendly - cottage very nice everything you need.

The space was clear and airy. Greeted by John when we pulled up. Check in was smooth, despite s being late in the evening.

A blanket, I retreated to the sofa in the night as I couldn't sleep, and used my dogs blanket to wrap up in, because I couldn't find any. Also the duvet could be the next size up, for two people, there was a a bit of tug-o-war going on. The drawers smell very strongly of moth balls.
