Rossy House Sorrento

The location is excellent - minutes away from the centre and piazza tasso. The apartment is a good size.

Everything else!! We weren't given our check in details until we were at the property and had to phone to ask how we get in. No one answered the phone we were given so we had to email!! An informative video was then sent. The apartment is very old and tired and the kitchen was unclean as were some of the other sides. All the work surfaces were greasy and dirty, as were the kitchen cupboards, hob and so was alot of the crockery - we had to wash crockery/cutlery before use so we knew it was clean. A dirty dishcloth and dirty sponge were left and no clean dish clothes or tea towels. The advert said tea/coffee/sugar was provided but there were only a couple tea bags. It also said toiletries were provided - there was one minature sized bottle of shampoo and 2 shower caps!!! No soap/toilet paper/shower gel were left. We phoned and explained and within 30 mins someone did come to bring us coffee/sugar/toilet roll and shower gel. They explained that someone would be in to clean the apartment the next day but no one came!! Whilst the apartment is rustic and has some nice features it is tired and really needs some money spending on it to modernise it eg paint was flaking off the ceiling in the bath/shower! It also needs a good clean.

Perfect location, in the very center of everything. Very helpful host, answering all questions. Not very expensive parking nearby. Only small drawback - is that apartment is on the high floor and you must use the stairs

Nothing we didn’t love. Could have used more linens for 3rd bed. Got in super late so didn’t want to bother host.

Perfect location, absolutely loved our stay in sorrento, our host Maria was very accommodating even checked in on us making sure everything was ok ,the place had everything need for a self catering holiday, the views from terrace are beautiful the hot tub is an added bonus. Thank you Maria Looking forward to hopefully returning soon 😁😁

The apartment was large with good size rooms. Loved the outdoor terrace with spa, sun beds, dining table and seating area with sea views. Air con was good, staff most helpful at check in with luggage and responsive when we lost power.

Could have been cleaner, the kitchen area could do with a good scrub. The shower was way too low, in fact we had to sit in the bath if using as hand free. Soap at the basin would be good too. Three flights of stairs, there are no lifts .

great location ,shops restaurants on doorstep outside space large area nice views ,10 minutes walk to train station owner on hand to help at anytime

not the cleanest apartment not a lot of care taken to maintain a high standard that you would expect to have the bathroom bath and shower was old and not very nice to use the toilet flusher works but is slow and have to stand there a few times ,the kitchen is ok but again everything needs a makeover,some new sharp knifes ones that actually cut bread ,in bedroom 1 there is a large patch on the the wall between the bedrooms where the paint is bubbling so could be damp and in the other bedroom there is a small area where water in slowly dripping through the ceiling i think it could be from the air con units on the flat roof ,outside area is great space but the sun beds did not have any padding so uncomfortable and the hot tub i filled with water and put on the bubbles and heater and the water went white and when i turned of the hot tub there was something on the surface of the water and the bottom felt like it’s needs a good clean all in all this apartment is ok for a basic base for the location but in my opinion the owner does not take any interest in maintaining it ,with a bit of money spent this could be a great place and last thing although i new about the stairs 91 i think it’s far to many stairs with heavy cases and even when you pop out your be thinking about the stairs
