SeaBreeze Vernazza

The location was great. A short walk down from the train and in the middle of restaurants and shopping. The rooms we had were comfy and the showers worked great. We were given a beautiful bottle of wine on arrival also.

A narrow stairway up to the 3rd and 4th floors wasn’t fun to deal with when arriving/leaving with our bags, but at least it was close to everything.

Great location above the Main Street. Sizeable terrace.

The room is very small, not much room to move around. Lots of stairs to get to the room, which is difficult when you’ve got a bag to carry. Neighbours were very loud, you can hear everything from the hallway. Vernazza is tiny, so probably best to stay in a neighbouring Cinque Terre town and get the train to Vernazza for a short day trip. Not much to do here.

The location of the place was great. Very central in the middle of town. Only one room and it did not have any terrace like the photos showed, but it did have a mini refrigerator and some dishes and a coffee maker. The town itself is gorgeous!

This part was weird. Property owner's wife met us at the property. There was clearly water damage on the wall and she explained that the boiler had failed. Though there were patches that looked like mold to us, she denied it. She offered to lower the roommate and told us to cancel our booking with booking.com and pay cash instead at a lower rate. We felt uncomfortable about this, but worried about not being able to find another room given how crowded the town was so agreed and gave her cash instead. Also, we asked where we could find a laundromat and the owner offered to do our laundry. A quick google search didn't find a laundromat so again, even though this felt weird, we said thanks and gave him our laundry. He collected it the day after our arrival and two days later, the night before we were leaving, we still didn't have it back, even though we had asked for it multiple times and were by then out of clean clothes. He finally gave them back and they were all damp. Luckily, we had found a laundromat by then in our wandering and were able to take them there and dry them ourselves. The whole experience was strange and we would not stay there again.

Was described as a one bedroom apartment, but was only a room..deceptive advertising. Memory foam mattress which might be fine for many, but very uncomfortable for us. Air-conditioning did not work.

Too many stairs but Anna helped us with the suitcases and that was a great help. We are pensioners and staircases are a problem for us.
