"Apartment high in the hills"

This apartment is in an old building in the center of the village, high up in the hills in Summonte. The area around it is really nice. This is a great place for people who like nature. The villagers were very friendly and welcomed us warmly. Francesco, the landlord, is quick to respond and is always ready to help. He tried to make our stay as comfortably as possible.

It is perhaps best suited to those who are able to adapt their daily routine to suit living in a village. It is possible that the water supply may be restricted, which could result in some inconvenience regarding bathroom usage. It can be noisy because there is a church next door. The church bell rings every hour.

It's a small village well looked after. Plenty things to see and discover around, either by car or on foot. From 6am to midnight at every hour the bell of the church will ring, marking the time. It is definitely an experience! After the second day, we slept through it. There are 1 or 2 shops for basic needs and a good pizzeria. 1 more restaurant was closed when we were there.

There is no kettle, very basic kitchen equipment, we had to ask for some pan' lids, scissors and spare mugs. The downstairs toilet's extractor is Very noisy! To reach Summonte, you drive for at least 15-20 minutes through bendy road, take it into consideration if you get car-sick. I suggest doing food shopping before you drive up.

Value for money place. Pretty, quiet village. Free on street parking.

I would have loved to have a better shower in the bathroom.

"No balcony"

The village

No balcony as promised. Closed with a wall and ventilation from a vindow og dor, so it got too hot to sleep in the dormitory.
