Fantastic location, spacious rooms, updated bathroom

Ivar was great, he explained everything to us, he îs very involved and has a great energy. Apartment nice, located in a great area, close to centre and many restaurants.

For us it was a bit cold. There is a radiator, but it îs noisy. Overall, we higly recommend this place.

Wonderful apartment in El carmen. Central location, near stores, restaurants, public transportation, and sights like the Central Market, Silk Exchange and Cathedral were all within 10+ minutes walk. The host, Ivar, met me at the apartment to hand over the keys, and took the time to give me a map and show me points of interest and transportation hubs, as well as explaining how to buy transport tickets. The building had a double lock entry, so it felt very secure for a woman traveling alone. The apartment itself was larger than I expected, with a little balcony, TVs in every room, tons of towels and toiletries provided. Had all of the little touches that make a long stay more pleasant- bedside lamps, remotes by the bed for the overhead lights and fans, cookware and dishes, washer and drying rack, plenty of hangers in the closet and hooks for towels in the bathroom.

This apartment is in a great location near to the centre, a 10 minute walk to the Central Market and Cathedral but very quiet. Close to bus route around the old city or to the Oceanografic complex. Ivar met us when we arrived and left and because we had a late flight, he stored our luggage. Excellent communication. Would definitely return.

The apartment is large and modern with everything you need and the location is perfect, in a charming neighbourhood just a few minutes walk from the centre. Ivar was charming and very helpful, taking time to tell us all about the city and what to see and advised us on public transport and how to buy bus tickets. He was also very generous with us on an extended check out on the day we left!
