The Garden Room Westcott

Clever and thoughtful conversion. Lots of helpful foodstuffs left for breakfast, hot drinks, cold drinks. Super clean. Jacky and Roy were lovely kind people. Would definitely book again.

There wasn't anything not to like.

We parked our car on the drive at the front of the house. The Garden Room is through a lockable gate to the side. It is small and compact but light and airy and well designed, to ensure good use of space. A good selection of breakfast goods were available which was an unexpected bonus. The guest information was comprehensive and included plenty of choice of recommended places to eat. There was free use of wifi with good connection and the private garden which was very well tended and with excellent views of the countryside. Our hosts Roy and Jackie were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The double bed was up against the wall which was a little inconvenient particularly if you need to get up during the night. The sofa was a little too soft for us but may be perfectly comfortable for other guests.

location was perfect for us visiting Waddesdon manor and Blenheim Palace small coffee shop found nearby and lovely pub for dinner host absolutely lovely, made sure we were ok - excellent communication and welcome pack so clean and warm! perfect for couple of nights

Very well appointed in this compact space with lovely views and many extras which were appreciated especially over New Year when shops were closed. And beautifully warm in this cold weather! Would totally recommend for comfortable stay with easy driving access to Waddesdon and other locations.

Everything was great! We found the shower a bit tricky to stabilise at a warm temperature but this would not put us off returning another time.

Comfortable bed, good heating and quiet location. Thoughtful extras provided.
