Alpenglow Lodge Family Studio with Murphy Bed by MVA

Walking distance to both Whistler and Blackcomb bound gondolas and near an excellent grocery store. A sauna! Lovely views from room 205. Ski and snowboard storage room in the basement. Polite staff. After checkout, we were allowed to use the sauna and gym before our drive to Seattle. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare simple meals: two nonstick frying pans without scratches, 3 pots ranging from small for eggs, medium for reheating soup, large for pasta. The Murphy bed was comfortable. The renovation is new with quartz counters but the appliances are old (coil top stove and dishwasher from the 1980s). The place is set up like a timeshare condo, but thankfully, the owner is the building management and so the storage room with a lock and key is available for storage. We needed it because we are on a 40 day trip and traveling with a lot of stuff. The photos look exactly like the room.

This place is in desperate need for hooks! Hooks behind the front door and more towel bars in the bathroom. There was no fire alarm (just wires dangling from the ceiling) or CO monitor, which was scary because the fireplace is gas and constantly on. I travel with an air quality monitor called an aranet4 that measures co2 levels and even with the window slightly opened, its readings were often 1500 (ideal would have been 800).

Clean and close to village shops

Room was very cramped and stuffy and because there is a restaurant directly below room 205 you can hear music. First night they had a big party with very loud music and kept us awake until 1:00 am.

Great location within Whistler, close to the village center. The apartment was very nice and clean, kitchen was well equipped (so no need to go out for dinner every night). Whirlpool was great, too. Staff was very helpful in case you needed anything.

It would have been great if some basics like salt, pepper and maybe some oil for frying would have been provided in the kitchen.

Clean, space used really well and cupboards equipped with all we needed. Jet bath was a bonus and it was great to have a little balcony too!

Nice flowers at the pool. Service at the hotel. In the center of Blackcomb.

Air condition terrible loud. Pool and environment of the Pool need cleaning. Gymn opens at 09:00am which is too late, as you could open it with the number code. In general you feel and see the age of the hotel. Very small parking places and very expensive.
