The location is amazing and the view is just like a postcard.

Da Marcella is located in the most amazing location. Right on the water in Vernazza. Only a short stroll from the train. Marcella gave easy directions to locate the apartment. The apartment was lovely and clean, spacious with a lounge, mini kitchen and verandah to watch the activities on the waters edge. This place is a golden find. It made our trip to Cinque Terre so much better and authentic.

It can get noisy at night but that is to be expected for a busy town like Vernazza.

The balcony with amazing view of town and beach is awesome. Location of apartment is what enhanced our visit here, we didn’t want to leave.

The apartment is well appointed, Table and chair for 4, small but useful kitchenette. Nice decor. The view and location were exactly as advertized. The host was pleasant and even had a welcome tray of chocolate candy that were pretty good!

Not the apartments fault but one should be aware of the downsides of this location. It is on top of a restaurant and while the noise was expected and did not keep me up at night (earplugs are thoughtfully provided) I did not take into the account the smells especially that of fried fish that wafted through the apartment. I had to keep the windows closed. It was very warm for May and the air conditioning could not keep up. You could not set the thermostat and I would have liked it cooler. There were many little steps up to the bath and down to the bedroom. Vernazza would have been a very pretty town except for the hordes of tourists that pour out of the train station and fill the streets until late at night.

Vernazza very crowded but nothing to do with apartment

The location was amazing, right on the town square with a balcony overlooking it, so you can sit and peoplewatch. The apartment was also very clean and Marcella was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was the best in town. The apartment was very clean,comfortable, and well equipped. Marcella was so nice and accommodating! I would stay here again in a second-in fact, I’m already trying to figure out when I can go back!
