Yelagiri RAM Cottage @Home with kitchenette full

A complete house setup, got all required things like kitchen utensils, washing machine, kids toys everything.

There were many big ants and bugs, though the house is completely protected with mosquito net. It's due to location I guess! Also the location is a little remote, no shops nearby.

Located in nice place. Owner is friendly and home is specious for 3 member family. They have provided to play indoor games materials. They have washing machine, TV and fridge as well.

Sofa was lil bit dirty and they didn't put any sofa cover. I felt they should've cleaned or maintained better. And the bed i didn't feel like they washed the cover and blanket after last guest checked out as i didn't feel fresh.

Cottage facilities were good, exceeding our expectations. Kitchen was well equipped, though we didn't visit with an expectation to cook. Restaurants are a bit far, but purpose of our travel is to relax and not hurry to see all the places in a couple of hours. We had a 9 yr old son, so foodwise, we had come prepared and so we didn't have issues at least for the night we arrived and the morning next day. Rest of weekend, we had food outside and we got very good vegetarian fare that exceeded our expectations.

Since most tourists are not residents, distance markers are often counter intuitive and has a significant deviation from reality. Yelagiri is not even Yercaud, forget Kodaikanal or Ooty, so fewer places to see can be practically well-timed out so that tourists can relax and see these few places at leisure. Preferred times of visit is not mentioned and having been to Yercaud before, we found Xmas time to be the best time to Yelagiri.
