Alpenglow Lodge by MVA

Quiet location.

I felt a little nickle and dimed staying here. I stayed on the property two years ago and using the gym, sauna, and shower after check out was no big deal. Now, it warrants a $50 fee just to have a late check out at 1pm—the latest time possible. The front desk worker gave me a dismissive, nonsensical answer that I couldn’t use the facilities after checkout because of insurance liability. When I asked a different clerk the next day, I was told I could use it but would need to use my own towel. The bed itself has a marshmallow texture that I find difficult to sleep in.

Location was fantastic - just a very short walk into the main village which meant it was also quiet. The room was brilliant and the hot tub really finished it off perfectly

All was good no complaints

The facility is good. But very confusing garabage handling policy. The bin for regular garbage was missing and the labeling is confusing. The front desk asked us to throw it in the bin across the street but it cannot be even opened. We are not even allowed to leave bags in the garage room where we were supposed to throw the garbages. Very bad experience at the checkout
