Profumo di mare - Sea Front Terrace Apartment Marina Grande, Sorrento

This apartment is the most amazing accommodation you can get in Sorrento! Susanna was the most hospitable, kind and gracious host you could ever ask for. She went above and beyond for me prior to us getting there, during our stay, and even helped organised a private transfer for a fair price to Naples train station once we checked out. There are no words to describe how incredible the view is for the huge balcony. And the apartment was amazingly clean, fully stocked and most importantly, had an amazing air con in both the main room and bed room. If you are planning to stay in Sorrento you have to stay here! The location is right next to some beautiful fresh seafood restaurants and the main square is a nice 10 mins walk. P.s there is a tour company called Capitano Ago that does semi private amalfi coast and Capri day tours that is directly under the apartment, make the location 100x better because you just have to walk down the stairs and you are at the meeting place or your tour. All in all, this is easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at, the most amazing view and a bonus of an incredible host Susanna! We will definitely be back!

There are a few flights of stairs to go up to get to the apartment but that is the price you pay to stay in the best location and have an incredible view. It is worth every step!

The apartment is spotless and in the most beautiful location.The view from the terrace is stunning.Susanna our host met us ,even though flight delayed. Took our cases up for us. Was very helpful and kept in touch during our stay which was lovely The apartment is in the old fishermans quarter,with a 17th century church next door. In front of apartment there is a small marina and beach. Loads of restaurants nearby. We loved watching the boats coming and going 😊.When you want to explore further ,there is a bus every 20 mins outside the apartment which takes you to the town. You can walk ,it isnt far but is uphill. Would highly recommend this apartment we had a special stay. Lots of lovely memories made. Thank you Susanna.

Nothing. There are a few flights of stairs to manage but I am nearl 60 and not super fit and I managed fine. Helped me work off the lovely food. The view and aparment are worth it.

The privacy, attention to detail, decor and panoramic view was exceptional. It is situated in a very convenient location With accessibility to all the available amenities in the area.

The positives outweigh the negatives by far, but there are quite a few steps to be encountered

This apartment must have the terrace with the best view over the harbour with fishing boats going out and coming in. Then you can eat the fish at one of the restaurants downstairs. Terrace well equipped for outdoor living. Lovely owner Susannah met us and left wine and snacks. Much appreciated. Comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen too.

Bathroom was a bit small but perfectly functional. The stairs were steep and tiring at the end of the day but that’s the price for such a fantastic view. Choice of bus or walk up the steps into Sorrento town. Only around 10-15 minutes.

Location perfect in the center of the marina village, fantastic view, plenty of room for two, well equipped and very clean.

We were supposed to be spending about 4 weeks in italy this year but ended up spending 4 days instead. We had to cut our trip short and completely rearrange our stays last minute in order to leave way earlier than initially planned. As Profumo Di Mare was our first stop, it ended up being our only stop and the only booking we didn't have to cancel. We're in love with this place and book it every year when possible. The most beautiful terrace we know is a sanctuary which can get your mind off the world around you if only for a little while. Luigi is always amazing and feels like a friend now. Susanna was great as well and incredibly helpful. Thanks a lot for everything guys and we hope to be able to make this trip again soon in better circumstances
