Clean and nice old style apartment in city center. Nice and easy.

Just a small remark about the size of the pillows. They were just a little too small in size.

The location and cleanliness🤩

A responsive and helpful host. The apartment was cleaner than an operating theatre! It's very conveniently located. There wasn't any disturbance from the other residents of the apartment block. Free parking. Visited in February, when it was -9C and the apartment was super-warm, with plentiful hot water.

It's very dated and very basic. Weirdly though, this is its charm. The bathroom's small and doesn't have a sink. Not so much an issue for me but my partner pointed out there wasn't a full length mirror. Centrally located = outside (road) noise. It overlooks the busiest road junction in Valmiera. We stayed for 6 nights and after the first night (Saturday) because of the basic facilities and in particular the road noise, I was ready to leave and book another apartment, but that was the worst night and the stay got better. We grew acustomed to the apartment and looking back, overall it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Wonderful central location. Close to excellent restaurant near the church. Close to shopping and local transport. Excellent value.

Nothing to dislike.
