La Bottega di Volastra, Terre Marine

Location in a quiet little town, was just what we wanted. The rooftop terrace and view fantastic. Zoe was very responsive and helpful. La Bottega made our stay in Volastra special. Convenient small grocery and snack shop a minute walk away.

Super clean and modern

Beautiful and quiet village and the place is very comfortable with a nice terrace, all as per description. Good parking space but some walk to the flat, if you have big luggage be prepared! But part of the charm of the village. We could take the bus (check timetable) to go to Manarola.

We didn't get lucky with the weather but nobody's fault, we were happy to have a comfortable and warm place to stay

Fantastic view and fresh apartment! One of the few places that will offer parking in Cinque Terre.

Keep in mind the picture of the patio does not show that the neighbours have a close view of you enjoying a drink from their balcony so the patio is not private! The room is also a bit cramped for 3 or 4 people and there is not enough hot water for everyone to take a shower.

Although not in the heart of one of the 5 Cinque Terre towns, transport via a small bus to Manarola is easy, and the location and view are great. Apartment was clean and well furnished. Our 4- night stay was marred by overcast conditions and rain, until our last day when the sun shone through. With the help of the train service we were able to visit all 5 villages in a day.

We've stayed in a number of similar accommodations over 3 weeks in Italy. This is the only one that came with a minimal supply of toilet paper (2 rolls). When asked for more, told 2 is the limit. Really! Can purchase more at near by mini-market, still shouldn't have to do this, not to mention market is closed a few days of the week

The view from the window and the terrace. The place it self in a nice and quite small village on the top of the mountain with wonderful trail which we could use for the morning walk in nature with wonderful view.

The floor was cold, some carpets would make it more cozy feeling. The terrace could have some flowers and more furniture for cozy sit and relaxation. Check out at 10am is too early, not enough time to eat breakfast and enjoy the terrace in the morning.

I would like to visit cinque terre, but I heard that there are so many visitors and very crowded. So I preferred a little bit quiet place. The location is perfect for me. I had to climb up and down to access one of small village if cinque terre, but it can be reached on foot. Of course the accommodation is very good and panoramic viewing at the photo on website is really true. It was only one night stay but I really enjoyed the stay.

We loved our stay at La Bottega di Volastra. The little village was located at the top of the hillside, and the view from our terrace overlooking Manarola was so beautiful. Volastra offered a quiet and tranquil escape from the quite crowded and touristy 5 villages nearby, and it was just a dreamy experience overall. You have to visit the vineyard Cantina Capellini, and make sure to do an early morning hike from Volastra to Corniglia! We did this trip without a car, and so we hiked our way down to Manarola each day, used the trainline to explore the 5 villages, and took the bus back up the mountain from Manarola when it was time to go home. This worked really well for us!

Nothing! It was a fantastic experience overall. A perfect location for those who want a romantic getaway and also experience some breathtaking hiking trails.
