Minerva Apartment Azuria & Tulipan Apartment by Taormina Holidays

On arrival the agent insisted on an additional payment on top of what was an already expensive apartment. We were outside in the boiling heat for over an hour before handing over additional cash and eventually receiving the keys. Other friends apartments we visited nearby were much better quality and value. Considering it was advertised as a luxury apartment the overall feel was fairly basic and offered the bear minimum aside from a ribbon around the towels eg a single pillow per bed.

Perfect location and our host went out of her way to make us comfortable and happy.

The apartment was excellent and well located close to the supermarket, main shopping strip and amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Mariatherea was so super helpful !

We stayed 4 nights in Taormina and this apartment was perfect - it had a fantastic shared pool which we really enjoyed and was in a great location for walking down into Taormina. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and we were looked after very well by MarieTerese who met us to show us round and was very helpful

Great location and handy central parking - pool a welcome addition. Mariateresa was excellent on comms and organising.

Not a great view over construction area

The apartment was super modern and clean and there is a lovely pool. We also had a view of the sea from the balcony. The underground parking was a huge bonus as no non-resident parking in Taormina. The main street was a less than a 10 minute walk and there is a great supermarket 5 minutes away. Lots of cheaper places to eat nearby but still lots of atmosphere. Maria Theresa messaged ahead with great directions and instructions and was super helpful when she met us to hand over the key. Would highly recommend these apartments.

Great location, and the host (Mariateresa) personally greeted us, showed us around the place, and answered all of my questions. This made the check-in process easy for us. Maria Teresa's communication was very clear and thorough.

Spacious, clean, modern and well equipped in a great location at one end of the main shopping street, near a supermarket. Good showers. Lovely pool. Balcony. Great for a family stay.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a great location. We could wander in the evenings to a selection of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The pool was a real bonus and we spent a lot of time there, cooling down.

We had decided to spend our last full day with a sleep in and a day spent chilling at the pool. Unfortunately we had an earlier than expected wake up call with banging and drilling which we first thought was from the apartment upstairs but uopn further investigation was from the top floor. I did contact the property manager who was apologetic but made no effort to investigate or offer an explanation. The banging had also started on our departure morning before we left. Marieteresa (the property manager) is extremely efficient and the welcome tour was clear and direct. Her style is more military than customer service. She could have handled the noise issue with a little more understanding and with a 10am check out time the doorbell at 10.02am was true to her rigid style.
