Fantastic location close to everything. Lots of steps to get into town but that’s the nature of Taormina. 5 minute walk and everything was right there. Spectacular views from accommodation. Apartment lovely and newly renovated etc. Mariateresa and Daniele were fantastic. Met us at the apartment and showed us round at the time we had agreed and checked in with us that everything was ok. Very responsive to our questions and came straight over when we arrived slightly earlier than expected 10/10 for hosting.

Nothing though Taormina was a little too busy at this time of year we found plenty to do and the accommodation was a lovely refuge away from the crowds.

Maria our host was brilliant, sorted taxis from Catania and helped us with luggage storage on the last day due to a later flight (small charge). Apartment was in amazing location. It had literally everything you need from irons and hairdryers to wine toppers and tupperware! - like a home from home it really was brilliant. Pool was nice, could always get a bed no matter the time of day.

Did have some noise early morning for first few days, but that wasn’t the property’s fault - just other holiday makers next door letting their kids scream and shout from 6am. At all other times it was very quiet, even round the pool. Would highly recommend!

Location in Taormina is spot on, super close to the main tourist areas, restaurants, shops and bars. This is our 3rd trip to Taormina and definitely the best accommodation for a small group or family.

We Loved our stay in the Minerva apartments. They are of a really high specification throughout the whole apartment, building and facilities. Really spacious and clean, excellent air conditioning, very comfortable beds and great amenities. Miss Maria took great care of us and showed us everything we needed to know as well as organising our transport and recommending the best restaurants and places to shop. The pool area is beautiful and never seems to be too busy, it has a wonderful surrounding view from it. It would be fantastic to be guaranteed this level of accommodation on all vacations.

There were no negatives about our stay

The apartment is excellent and highly recommended. 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 big bathrooms and a huge kitchen / lounge area. We were met by Mariateresa who was just the best host, showing us around, sharing recommended restaurants and keeping in touch - she was fantastic!

It is a steep hill back to the property from town - you certainly get fit. Our experience is you do not need a car in Taormina (unless planning day trips of course) - train and bus from airport under 10 euros.

Spacious, clean and in a great location. Had great facilities especially the pool. Marietheresa was excellent. She was very helpful, informative and very prompt in responding to any questions.

Furnishings. The lounge was not comfortable and very worn and impractical. Couldn’t lie on it as it separated. There could have been a shower caddy I’m the main bathroom. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. Water pressure in showers was very poor.
