This was the WORST experience I have ever had using Booking.com.

The property was impossible to find. I received a text THE DAY OF THE CHECK IN stating that I had to pick up the key at a clothing shop next to the property, it was actually 1/4 mile from the property and it took me 30 minutes to find the shop....ONLY TO FIND OUT THE SHOP WAS CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAY! I WAS NEVER ABLE TO CHECK IN AND HAD TO FIND ALTERNATE ACCOMODATIONS. the text also stated that sheets were an additional charge of 10 euro. When I pay in excess of 100 euro for an accommodation I should not have to pay extra for sheets. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!! IT IS A SCAM. I asked for a refund and was refused. BAD BUSINESS, BOOKING.COM SHOULD DROP THIS CLIENT.

Cleanliness, easy to get there, big TV, everything we need in an apartment.

We were very surprised to find how spacious the property was! There was clearly given a lot of thought to the practicality of travelling with children (e.g. cupboard full of board games, playstation, but also sliding doors to separate the living rooms so us (parents) could still move around the rest of the apartment without waking the kids up. Very comfortable stay!

The kitchen is on the smaller side, especially when visitors are at full capacity (7 beds). On the bright side, there is enough equipment in the kitchen to cook for larger amounts. A vacuum cleaner would have been helpful with kids messing around... but maybe I just didn't look hard enough ;)

The pickup was at the nearby clothing store of the owners. They were really friendly and very enthusiastic. They immediately gave us some tips on where to go for dinner. The apartment was big and was nicely decorated for Christmas. Everything we needed was there. Very close to the tramstop that will take you to Ostend or Blankenberge. Very close to the beach. Very close to a butcher that also sells bread.

The toilet was dirty and noticeably not cleaned properly. The beds in the children's room were a little too small for my tall kids. Luckily there were other available beds where they could sleep in. But if you have tall kids like me and need them to sleep in the kids room, then this is not a good option. The kids room also did not have a window in it and there was an odd smell in it.

The pictures don't do the appartment justice. The location is so close to the beach. The appartment was big en so beautiful. We had an amazing stay here and would 100% stay here again if going to the beach. Wenduine is such a nice little city! The baby things (chair and bed) were really useful. We stayed here with 5 adults and a baby (just so you know)

Bring your own hand soap and shampoo, as there is none in the appartment ;) Wifi was really slow
