Valletta-Central duplex maisonette

Very clean and well-designed location, at first glance you can see that it was decorated by a woman with good taste.

As it was mentioned, the room is located in the busy street, but in my opinion it’s less important with respect to the pros of that place.

I didn’t want to write a review about this property as I didn’t want to tell everybody how good it was! so then I would have more chance to stay here again myself! Lol. in all seriousness though the location of the property was within a 2 to 5 minute walk of coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets or grocery stores. The property had Aircon and a washer and dryer as well as a small hairdryer provided that was also quite powerful. I loved the bay windows in both the kitchen and the bedroom. The size of the bedroom was huge and isn’t justified in the photos on the listing and for anyone wondering there is 24 stairs up to the kitchen level. The door is located on ground level. You then go up to the first level which is where the bathroom is located and the hallway area you then go up another set of 12 stairs to the kitchen and bedroom area there is also a full-size fridge with freezer and pantry area for food. Tea and coffee was provided and honestly the place just felt like Home. I had the pleasure of staying there for three weeks and I honestly did not want to leave! There was ample wardrobe space for all of my clothes to be unpacked and even hung up in the wardrobe which I loved so much and plenty of space for my toiletries etc to be placed out. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be staying here again! In google it’s best to search “Kir Royal Cafe” which is located next door as google shows the property on the next block which was in correct when I searched.

I personally didn’t have any problems with the property, I did see pety complaints about the sink size in the bathroom which I had no issues with, honestly how big do you need a sink? And I preferred the bathroom on a different level to separate it from the living area. I had no issues with the stairs I saw this as a form of exercise and I always kept the bathroom door open to avoid humidity and didn’t find any problems with smells etc I would recommend light sleepers to bring earplugs for sleeping as most deliveries happen early morning to beat the heat and some people celebrating from bars tend to be loud in the street. This is to no fault of the owner just busy life in Valletta!

Great central location in vibrant, lively & very friendly neighbourhood. Plenty local amenities e.g cafes, bakeries & fabulous independent shops. Property very comfortable & clean with everything we needed for our stay.

Lots of tourists spill out from the cruise ships as they berth nearby so it can get busy at times with large guided tours coming down the street but that’s unavoidable days in most cities.

Very noisy neighborhood; we had to wear earplugs because since early morning, you could hear everything from the street and even pigeons.

Location is perfect. Everything on your doorstep. WiFi, kitchen, washer, drier, cleaning products etc supplied. Everything you need. Communication with owner great.
