Just a perfect stay! The villa itself was very charming and in a quite but still easiy reachable part of Zakopane. We stayed in room with two balconies, both having a perfect view. The room was very spacious, clean and we used the shared kitchen for breakfast. The villa is reachable from center, either by walk (40 mins) or one bus stop. Also, it is very close to one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Tatras. We also used oportunity to rent e-bikes one afternoon and we highly recommend guest to do the same. All in all 10/10.

The location is perfect. Close to centre but far enough away to be relaxing, and then just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the national park. The views from the apartment were outstanding, you will struggle to get better in Zakopane. The owner also let us check in at 9.30am which was really good of him.

I didn't like the fact the owner gave us an attic room with no balcony, even if it was a large room with great views from the window. It was strange that he did this as every room but one was empty when we arrived. He showed us the attic, then as I was collecting the bags from the car he told my wife we could have a different room but it wouldn't be as good. As it was a nice day we quickly dropped our bags and went for a hike. It was only in the evening that we realized we had the only room in the house without a balcony, even though when I booked I specifically chose a room with a balcony. This meant at night we couldn't sit outside even though the weather was warm. Added to that, having a bathroom outside the bedroom was not comfortable. It was on our own landing but I'd prefer a bathroom in the room. This could have been a 10 review if he just gave us the room we booked.

The only downside was going downstairs to use the kitchen to make a tea. You had to get dressed and not go down with your pyjamas just in case others came there as we were sharing the kitchen area. It was a new experience for me.
