Cozy Town Centre Apartment

- Easy check in - Clean - Great facilties - Cosy - Comfortable bed - Just all round good stay

- Very minor point and not a dislike but it would be great to upgrade to a kingsize duvet on the double bed 😊 and some new pillows

From the moment we arrived i was immediately put off by where the apartment was actually located, it is right in the corner of what seems to be a service area, with lots of bins and a derelict building as your view from the front door. (see pic). On the Booking.com photos the front entrance looks very inviting, it does not reflect reality, it was dirty and overgrown, and the front door needs some attention. On entering the property the letterbox flap was lying on the floor, and there was a small useless mat which did nothing for wiping your shoes, it is not well lit and there is no where to hang coats. I noticed damp patches on the ceiling of the bedroom, the two bedside lamps were sticky to touch and there was noticeable dust on the skirtings and in the corners in all rooms. On using the cooker hood there was a build of of grease on the buttons which was disgusting, we could also not open any of the windows in the building and the sofa was like sitting on a brick.. The bathroom had a rusty shelf in the corner of the bath, the towels were thin and not suitable for purpose, but the biggest problem of all was the rubber seal on the bottom of the shower screen, it was absolutely disgraceful, it is blatently obvious that no one has even attempted to clean this in months, it was covered in green and black sludge (only wish i had takena pic) and i was forced to take it off and clean it myself before we could even contemplate using the bath/shower. These things are totally unacceptable, and need to be addressed as a matter of priority when people are paying a lot of money for sub standard accomodation.

The property was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and our son enjoyed sleeping on the double pull out sofa!

Property is very well situated. Cosy little flat. Few minutes distance from shops and restaurants.

Location is fantastic. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful view and sound of the river. Excellent parking. We’d like to stay again.
