Old Fisherman's Corner 5 - Centro Old Town Albufeira

Own pool and rooftop area was great. Good location.

The unit is in the old town, it’s newly renovated and the decor is modern ish.

Bear in mind: 1. No extra towels will be provided unless you are staying 5 days or more. 2. No extra loo roll either 3. You may not flush loo roll 4. There was no soap for the sink 5 There was neither cups nor glasses in the kitchen 6. The lock box code was changed on the day of arrival twice so we were locked out at one point 7. No direct sunlight which is not ideal in the winter 8. No rugs on the floor for the winter months which my other half did not appreciate 9. You are required to leave ‘before 10am’ promptly as they will be waiting outside the door…… 10. Poor communication in general 11. And worst, regarding bag storage I felt compelled to book another another days stay in the morning before check out just to have a shower 12 Split level / steps to the internal bathroom at night may not suite everyone 13. I don’t think plastic flowers are to everyone’s taste. 14. Id rather have tea and biscuits than the wine on offer 15. Then there is the lingering smell of the cesspit in the area when the temperature goes up, and cools in the evening I would not stay here again - I’ve booked the Sol E Mar for next year, it costs the same. Plus for the sea views, morning sunshine and warmth as well as more hospitality/ courtesy, breakfast and dinner is included for the same cost.

Disappointed there was no bidet and it was not allowed to flush toilet paper

A beautifully decorated, comfortable, cosy and perfectly clean apartment in the heart of the old town. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is amazing with beach nearby and cafes and restaurants just around the corner. Check in was easy and the instructions and on line information were all helpful. Quick responses to questions from the host. This really is a gem of a place. We arrived by bike and these were easily accommodated.

Perfect location. Less than a 5 min walk from Albufeira old town and the beach. Newly renovated. The facilities were great with a kitchenette, dining table and lounge to relax on. The host had a cute beach basket and towels to use. The caretaker was really helpful and helped us with our luggage so we could go to lunch and the beach after checkout.
