Excellent location, apartment had literally everything you could want by way of cooking facilities, huge space, cleanliness etc. but the outdoor balcony was the gem. Loved it all.

Everything about this place is amazing! It’s comfortable, it has a Beautiful balcony with an Amazon view! It’s also clean, and has everything you need to have the best vacation ever! Also owners are the best! Very communicative and honest! I hope I can come back soon to this lovely place!

There is a lot to like about this apartment. It’s in a great location close to restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. It’s a bit dated but the bed and sofa are comfy and the kitchen is equipped to make basic meals. The apartment is more spacious than the photos suggest, and the breeze from the ocean meant the temperature was always perfect.

Some issues with cleanliness. The living room rug was full of hair and dozens of shards of broken glass from a previous guest. It was obviously not hoovered before my arrival. (The property manager Nuno was very responsive and apologetic and also offered to send a cleaner the next morning.) The balcony had a fair amount of bird poop on the decking and furniture, this really should be freshly mopped between guests.

We (couple in our 70's ) stayed at this apartment for 2 months. An excellent stay. All rooms were large, furniture was very comfortable, including the beds. previous reviews mentioned " gas" bottles. No longer applicable. Stove and hot water heater recently converted to electric. The apartment is also equipped with heat pumps, which were straight forward and easy to use. Kitchen was a good size and also well equipped. The unit has a long( 10/11 meter) balcony; not wide but with an excellent view of the ocean. Each room has entry to the balcony. The local transit stop is about 50 meters down the street. Route 2 bus comes every 30 minutes, at 20 mins. to the hour and 10 mins. after the hour .The overall feel was that of a place you could live in, rather than a hotel apt. feeling. We felt at home. We would absolutely recommend for a long-term stay.

Well, it was on the 3rd and top floor with no elevator. However, the top floor is where the view is. A microwave oven would be a bonus.

Superb location - easy access to Old Town and Marina - view from balcony was fantastic and got the sun from morning to early evening

The location is excellent right in the old part of the city close to the beach, cafes and other attractions. The apartment is modern, clean, bright and spacy. The apartment has a big balcony overlooking the ocean. The sun stands in the balcony whole day until the sunset, so, one can get a tan even without leaving the house :) However, the sun gets just for 20 sm in the house which means that it will stay cool even in sunny days. Also, bus stop is just 60 meters from the house at the same street. I used bus #2 to get to the bus station where I took another bus to travel to other cities. Another great thing was that Flixbus stop is in 15 minutes walk (mostly downhill and strait road), so I just walked there to get the bus to Lisbon.

I enjoyed the house, but absence of the elevator might be an issue for some people. For me it was OK even though I had two suitcases. Other than that, I cannot think of anything that might be a pitfall

Just a few minor things.. the shower head is cello taped in place but still moves quite a bit. The first night the hot water wasn’t working and the gas bottles are quite different to what we are used to - thankfully this was sorted quickly!
