More time than I booked

Apartment was spotless with added bonus of a complimentary welcome pack great idea, also pool area had plenty of sun loungers. The host Claudia sorted our transfers and met us at the apartment she was lovely and Friendly. Location was fantastic a minute walk to the beach and just a few minutes walk to the old town with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants.The walk to the strip is about 20 minutes, or if you prefer there is a mini train that goes around Albuferia and the marina which is also worth a visit. Overall a brilliant holiday we definitely recommend people to stay here and book with Claudia. Thank you Claudia 😊

Nothing everything was perfect!

Everything. It was incredible. really beautiful space and location. Stunned that it was such good value. I never normally do reviews, but felt compelled to sing the praises of this one

Best place I have ever stayed. Excellent facilities and very clean. Amenities were fabulous as was the pool. Claudia the hostess was so lovely and helpful. It's in a great location with a 15 minute walk into the old town. Amazing beach 5 minutes away. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

There was nothing I didn't like.

This was a self catering apartment. Our host Claudia was very nice and accessible. We loved the apartment the view the pool and the multiple outdoor spaces. It was a very short walk to the Ocean and Old Town. There was also underground parking.

It would have been nice to have better fry pans that worked on the convection stove. Also plastic wine glasses for outdoors would be nice. These are small things compared to the wonderful apartment.

The host, Claudia was flexible to meet us a bit earlier at the place. She was very friendly, speaks good English and made our "check-in" as short and effective as possible. When you have used most of your day traveling as a smal-children family, you quickly appreciate an easy-going check-in. The apartment was as described on it's Booking page. There was no unpleasant surprises. The whole building is not even ten years old, so the standard is quite modern, equipment and amenities are in good shape (Portuguese standard and attention to details, mind you) . With all the balcony and terraces you get enough sun whole day. The swimmingpool is nice and was very clean during our stay (March 2023). Water is not heated though, so we did not use it. Easily walking distance to the beach and the "old town". Garage in the basement, no problems there but you have to know your car well if it's a bigger one. Check-out couldn't be better. Leave the keys on the table and shut the door.

R. do Oceano street is a bit noisy, as there goes a bit of car traffic this side of Albufeira, and because of tuk-tuks struggling going uphill. The salon/sitting-room and one of the bedrooms (with two single beds) are facing this street. Not a big problem if you come from a big city, and are accustomed to city noises. Can be a problem if you are staying with kids. Our slept well. You probably don't go to southern Portugal, especially Albufeira looking for peace and quiet anyway. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower cabin and the other one with a bath, so you have a choice. You would probably want to shower one person at a time anyway because of the gas water heater there. Water pressure and temperature gets disrupted when someone else opens a tap while you are under shower. This is probably common most of places, as it is popular with gas heating in Portugal. Watch out when showering kids. The last one is not a con, but worth mentioning. As some other comment said, there is a lot of stairs in the apartment. If you're traveling with small children, be aware of that. Our soon to be three years old did fine going up and down the stairs on his own, but your mileage may vary. Especially with smaller children.

Fantastic location near the beach. Only 5 mins from the old town square. Excellent roof terrace There is a pool too, but it was Feb so too cold on our trip The owner is very helpful and friendly and responsive to messages.

Lots of steps and balconies so not suitable for families with under 3s
