Apt Baleeira Sol

Location was perfect. Apartment well equipped and clean. Balconies at the front and back. Vending machines in lobby convenient. Plenty of chairs and loungers in pool area.

We were provided with fresh towels half way through our stay but it would have also been great to have been provided a couple of extra toilet rolls as well, as we had to go out and buy extra. Some extra counter space in the kitchen would be great.

The location as to walking distance to the store, restaurants, the beach etc was perfect. Couldn’t have been better. The view was also very nice of course.

The beds were very uncomfortable. The road in front of the balcony was very loud at times because of the cars and buses and tuktuks driving by. Also, the kitchen appliances were not that great if we wanted to stay in and cook ourselves. Mainly because of the frying pan, there were only two very very little ones. But what disappointed us the most was the room we got, because we booked a different room. We got there late at night so couldn’t really look out side. The next morning, first thing we did was check out the view, of course, but were disappointed because it was totally different from the pictures that were shown by the specific room that we booked. We booked a room on the top floor which the pictures clearly show (looking down on the big tree) but as you can see in the picture we were a level lower so we were looking directly at the tree. We contacted the property right away but they weren’t really helpful. When we got home we contacted booking.com thinking they would understand and help, but they also weren’t helpful.

The location was perfect everything was within walking distance 10 minutes to the marina and the old town, and the Castello Di Norcia restaurant 2 minutes from the apartment is not to be missed. We had a wonderful time, the apartment was spotless and has everything you could need. We really hope to get back there again.

Excellent location, close to Marina local restaurants, bars, town and beach.

There was nothing to dislike - its Portugal !

We had apartment number 5 and it had an amazing view over the small marina and a beautiful large balcony. The pool was very quiet and clean. Very convenient to have the coffee and vending machine with essentials downstairs. About 10 mins walk to the old town and about the same to the large marina area where you can get many boat trips. Air conditioning worked well.

These are minor things that didn't really spoil our stay in any way. Wifi on the top floor was practically non existent. There is only one door key and that is conected to the card for the electricity which is inconvenient if your group wants to split up/ come back late.
