The property was nicely located.

The stay was extremely noisy. There were drunk people yelling and screaming outside of our window until 4am. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and sunken in if you laid in the middle. The wifi didn’t work so we could not work as we planned and had to go to a cafe to get our work done.

Proximity to old albufeira

The apartment is very well located, just few blocks from all the action of the town without being in the action.

It was a one-bedroom apartment, but the bedroom didn't have any exterior windows (this part of the apartment was definitely not as shown on the pictures). The bathroom was inside the bedroom (we didn't know that either before arriving) so this was not that good for a group sharing an apartment. The air conditioning is just in the living room, so the bedroom just got the cold air from a small opening in the wall. Since you are close to the action you can hear people talking out loud from the streets (late at night) it didn't bother us that much, but you have to be aware of it. Also, while you are in the bathroom you can hear people talking as well (not sure if they were from the street or from other apartments). We saw and killed a cockroach in the living room, but it seems that's a regular thing in Portugal since I saw another one at Lisbon Airport. Getting the keys from the lock was not that easy, fortunately you just had to do it once.

The host was nice and friendly when we met to hand over the keys. It was a great location during the day but at nighttime not so much.

The unit was smaller than what appeared in the photos. There was no space to put anything, more hooks in the washroom and shelving is definitely needed. Everything seems like it was very cheap - the door broke as soon as we got there and we weren’t able to close it properly. The worst part was there were a lot of little ants crawling everywhere inside. It was gross. We did contact the host about it but didn’t receive any response from her about the ants. We only received two tiny rolls of toilet paper for our three day stay for three of us and had to ration the toilet paper, not something you think about having to do on vacation. We did have to request more. There’s only one pillow per person and they weren’t comfortable. One of the pillow cases was dirty. The location is great for during the day but if you’re not joining the party crowd, you have drunk people are walking right outside your door all night. Just something we didn’t know but will keep in mind for next time.

Close to all places Albufeira.

Ants in all of the apartment, they didn’t disturb much but yet they were there. Epilleptic broken lighting in the bathroom.

It’s at a great spot walking distance to everything!
