"Exceptional"

Lovely Apartment exactly like pictures. Check in was smooth and we were able to check in early as apartment was ready.Great WiFi and has all the mod cons. Shop & Chemist to left of resort entrance as you exit. We took number 9 bus to Faro at cost of €5.30 - same bus also goes to Villamoura. We used Uber to most places - as there were 4 of us, it was better value than bus. Lots of restaurants within a short walk, you turn left as you leave resort. Intermarche supermarket is same direction but further walk- we didn't find it significantly cheaper than the nearby shop to go there more than once - maybe with a car! Lovely beach within 10 mins walk - turn left and then right at the gas station and then left in front of Club Med and follow the path. Its a bit steep so maybe not ideal if you have mobility issues. Balaia Village itself is beautiful but do note, that apart from swimming pools ( 6 of them - 3 with pool bars) you pay for tennis, golf, bowls and indoor gym and pool. Golf was €30 for day for a resident or €60 if you don't have your own clubs and you also need golf balls which were €12 for 3. Lovely par 3 course. Tennis was €14 per court for one hour or €19 for 90 mins and rackets were €5 per person with balls included. Tip - bring your own sun cream it was quite expensive everywhere. Highly recommend the apartment and the resort

"Most relaxing holiday"

Everything was perfect. The apartment is spotless, spacious and has everything you'll need for a relaxing stay. Kitchen is well equipped, beds a very confy and you've lovely view of the golf course from your balcony. The resort is very pieceful and the grounds are immaculately kept. Very close to two pools, 5 minute walk to the reception and the local store. The beaches and restaurants are 10 to 15 minute walk or 4 minutes in a taxi. Had an absolute lovely stay and sergio was extremely helpful and made the booking and stay stress free. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday or if you're a golfer you'll definitely enjoy your stay
