Apart JCMar - Near to the beach - WIFI - BY BEDZY

The apartment was very modern and a great size with all the facilities you needed and more! The location was amazing, only a 5 minute walk from Old Town and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend.

A little noisy at night but that’s to be expected and can’t be helped.

Location and space were very good. Good proximity to the old town and beach, but yet far enough away. There is a SPAR below the apartment, which is great for breakfast items etc. The ac worked well.

The apartment, in general, is very good. The laminate flooring is looking the worse for wear. It could do with a revamp at some point.

The location was great. Albuferia and Portugal is lovely as also went to Lisbon; which was spoiled that morning with the boiler flooding apartment and having to run for the coach. Old town had loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. The promoters weren't too bad either, if you said no they left you alone. I would definitely go back to Albuferia, but would never stay in this apartment again!

The issues we had with flooding from the boiler, trip of electrics, a army of ants which were crawling over us, and no water when boiler busted and finally no water on our last night and morning. So couldn't have a shower or even a wash when travelling home having to be dirty and unwashed for 9 hours, or when the boiler bust flooding the apartment on the 2nd morning. This was the one bedroom apartment. No air conditioning - I didn't realise this until just before going, as on the front page had symbol for air conditioning. Almost every day there was drama and another issue. Poor Customer Service, particularly from the owner was awful, dismissive, aggressive and gaslighting, and saying "this is normal, I get ants too" - I'm sure not 30-50 ants! And trying to blame us for the ants (day 3), when we hadn't been eating in the apartment. Got text 'we could go find own accommodation and leave apt. in 1.5 hrs. Lack of communication on repairs for and uninhabitable apartment on( day 2) as no water or electrics. The apartment is dated, electric sockets loose, low quality, substandard, old creaky beds when you sit on them. Low quality mattresses and pillows. Lack of clothes airer on balcony and lost expensive costume when drying over the balcony. 1 x toilet roll and only 1 x low quality large towel and 1 x low quality small towel, for the full duration of the 8 night stay. A kettle and a coffee machine, but no supplies (only salt). We take our own tea, sugar etc, but would expect a couple of coffee pods as a starter.. No water in the fridge (just a bottle of water after long hot travel would have been nice). No bin bags to empty the bin, (bin could be bigger). Old low quality furniture and extremely hard and uncomfortable sofa. Tiny monitor for a tv (we like to unwind by watching tv before going out or to bed); also as so old, we could not cast/stream to tv from our devices.

The apartment's biggest highlight is its fantastic location—just 100m from the nearest beach view and 200m to the beach itself! It's also super close to the Old Town, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. We had no trouble finding the apartment or getting in. It was clean, tidy, and had plenty of space for our small group of friends. Plus, there's a Spar shop right downstairs for convenience. The neighbourhood felt very safe, even for late-night walks. I'd definitely recommend it for both short and long stays!

There were a few things missing when we arrived, like tea, coffee, sugar, and dishwashing liquid, etc. - basic things. Also, the lock on the terrace door was broken, so we couldn't fully secure the apartment. On departure, we were surprised to find out that we had to take out our own trash and dispose of it in containers outside the apartment complex, which we hadn't experienced before.

Fantastic apartment just down the road from the beach, and the old town which was a great night out. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable, the air condition rooms were amazing and the balcony had a nice view!

Location was excellent, near everything you needed, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Easy to park outside and plenty of shops/faciities, but it was still quiet and peaceful at night (off main season stay for us)

Definitely not 100m from the beach! More like 400-500. Steep hill, but accessible via escalator. Furnishings functional and clean but very basic - a tiny bit more budget would really elevate things. and a new shower head is badly needed.
