Apartamentos Ninho das Gaivotas

Very clean apartment and quiet so I could relax. Bia was very helpful when I arrived.

We loved the property!! There was 4 of us and it was the perfect location, walking distance to everywhere you needed which was great! Nice big quiet pool area, very cute balcony!

It would have been good to know that we needed to buy toilet rolls, bin bags, washing liquid etc. However it was not a problem as Aldi was only round the corner!

The apartment size was brilliant! It was modern and clean and we had plenty of towels, kitchen appliances and everything you would need. Air conditioning and black out, automatic blinds were a huge added bonus. It was only a 10 minute walk from the strip and 10 minute walk to the beach but was lovely as it wasn’t stuck in the middle of the craziness either. The pool was also lovely and well looked after. Never too busy so always loads of sun chairs!

Room wasn’t serviced during the week which would’ve been nice but that was it!

The building, the pool, Dona Bia, the vibe of the place. The building used to be a hotel and now has a second life as a sort of hub for holiday homes for rent. The pool was great fun to use and the supporting equipment, like the outdoor showers and toilets, were in good condition too. There are lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets well within walking distance, so that's a massive plus. Parking was great too.

Albufeira is not a good place for a relaxed time. This is no fault of the owners of the apartment and I was expecting something like this but I wasn't expecting it to be so rowdy. Albufeira's beaches are absolutely terrible, I had no idea they were so bad. The building is an old late 80’s/early 90's monstrosity, so lifts were badly located. They were at one end of the building which meant a lot of walking and stairs to go anywhere. Not a big problem, but loading and unloading luggage was a bit of a pain.
