Clean, spacious and very helpful host

The ensuite bathroom door wouldn't close The communal lights and lift were not working (this is no fault of the host, merely an observation)

It was superbly quiet and serene, off the beaten track and in an area we know well. Large balcony that was shaded in the afternoon where we ate our breakfast and lunch. Evening meal we ate out - just a short walk away. The beach at Praia Maria Luísa is a favourite too. As we were arriving late, the host popped a few cartons of milk in the fridge so we could have a cuppa when we arrived and to start the day the next morning.

It only took us a few seconds on getting into the apartment to discover the air-conditioning was not working! It had to be completely replaced meaning we had a few uncomfortable nights before it was rectified. I'm sure the host will now ensure he does not get caught out again by adding his own pre-check to the list rather than relying on guests to advise him!

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Has a great view from a huge terrace. The condominium is located in a very calm and peaceful area but at the same time close to the beaches, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Also with a hot weather it is an advantage that each room of apartment has an air conditioning.

Was missing a shower gel and soap in the bathrooms. Also there was no detergent to wash dishes at the kitchen and there was only one dishwasher capsule even though we stayed there more than 1-2 nights.
