Casas Barulho Penthouse Old Town

The apartment was lovely and bright and had everything I needed.

Marvellous apartment. Wonderfully arranged and laid out. Ruben is rightfully proud of this apartment. The decor was on point. Bright and welcoming. The apartment more than met our expectations. It had both a balcony and sunroof it is located in the centre of the Old Town five minutes from the beach and the town square. Very near to the hustle & bustle of the Old Town. This is pointed out in the information. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this isn’t the place for you. However we were aware. Pack earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The volume is very loud but we enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartments location. Everything you need is supplied. We have met lots of wonderful Portuguese people.

Not much to dislike. Maybe an up grade on the outside furniture to keep it in line with interior furnishing and finishes.

The apartment itself was indeed lovely luxurious, spacious & clean, with great outdoor space and views.

While the description did in fact make me aware of the apartment being close to bars and clubs it did fail to say that the apartment was in face attached to the main Night club FIESTA which was open until 6am. The noise was simply unbearable and my balcony was level with the outdoor smoking area of the night club, I could litterly shake hands with people in the club from my balcony so you can imaging the noise. after 3 sleepless night I had to move to a different apartment.
